Inside the Studio: How the 528Hz Frequency Inspired Authentic Joy

Music, forest and light

Linked to feelings of peace, love, and joy, the 528Hz Solfeggio frequency is also called “The Miracle Tone” or “The Love Frequency.” Solfeggio tones, such as 582Hz, are specific frequencies referred to as “sacred” or “healing tones.” These tones are said to balance energy and stimulate healing, as many believe they resonate with the body’s vibrations.

This article will take you inside the studio with composer Pam Green. She reveals why she chose 528Hz for “Tuned to Joy,” and her path that led to the birth of Healing Vibes Collective.

Music That Gave Me Light

Interviewer: “What has been your personal experience with Sound Healing?”

Pam: “A few years ago, I faced a health crisis. I could not handle light or certain sounds. My whole life changed. The same music that brought me pleasure actually made me sad. I started looking for music on Spotify and YouTube that connected with me, and specifically, I needed pain relief. I was anxious & depressed. The healing music I found gave me some peace.”

To Heal and Find Peace

Interviewer: “What was your purpose when you decided to create this first composition that we now know as Tune to Joy?”

Pam: “Sound healing helped me when I needed it most. Fast forward to the present, and my experience inspired me to create music that would help other people heal.”

Interviewer: “What was your biggest challenge when composing the song?”

Pam: “My health issues became a permanent part of my life. Consequently, this has affected how I write and record music. The greatest challenge was adapting to these difficulties. However, I must say that my health struggles motivated me to create Healing Vibes Collective, driven by my wish to help others find some relief through music, just as I have.”

Interviewer: “What has your journey been like in order to study the various frequencies and how to use them in music creation?”

Pam: “I started reading about solfeggio frequencies on various websites and learned  that certain musical intervals, chord progressions and frequencies aid healing.  I then composed using those parameters. I asked my Spiritual Team to help me help others heal through the music I write. My life purpose from this point forward is to help others heal and find peace through music.”

Interviewer: “Why did you choose 528Hz to compose Tune to Joy?”

Pam: “This short video explains the benefits of 528Hz.”

The Creative Process

Interviewer: “When you composed Tune to Joy, what did you want the listener to experience?”

Pam: “I hoped my composition would simply allow the listener to experience feelings of joy, and have stress melt away, through opening their solar plexus & heart chakras.”

Interviewer: “Walk us through your composition process. Do you function through inspiration, or do you sit down and go to work when you compose?”

Pam: “I suppose both are true. I mess around on my guitar or piano until the spark happens. When the music flows through me, and I get a feeling, like a connection in my soul, I build around that.”

Interviewer: “What instrumentation was involved in this composition, and did you play all the instruments or use AI-generated music?”

Pam: “I’ll use AI for research, but not for music. I know it’s the new wave, but I believe in creating music with real instruments. Yes, I composed and played all the instruments, including piano, acoustic guitars, bass guitar, and keyboards, using virtual instruments, synth textures, and cinematic sound design. I chose premade drum patterns and arranged them. Still not AI, though.

Interviewer: “Is it true that you recorded the music yourself?”

Pam: “Yes. I’ve been a studio engineer and music producer for many years. I was the engineer for my past music projects, like the self-titled album PROVIDENCE, the second album, although we changed the band name, MORE THAN SKIN DEEP FROM KARMIC TATTOO, and NAME OF ALBUM NEW TRIBE, to name a few. I will also serve as the engineer and producer for all new Healing Vibes Collective compositions.

Interviewer: “Pam, that’s impressive.”

Fun Fact – Star Trek and Maui?

Interviewer: “What is a fun fact that you want to share about the making of Tune to Joy?”

Pam: “I felt at home when I visited Maui. The water and the black sands there felt so healing. I wanted to add that ‘Maui feeling’ into my composition, which I believe I accomplished. In the process, while messing around on the synthesizer, I also found a few sounds that reminded me of Star Trek. Being a life-long Trekkie, and because Star Trek always brought me joy, yes, I added those sounds into the composition.”

Interviewer: Thank you for this candid interview. We look forward to the next Inside the Studio segment, scheduled for release on June 24, 2026, which will explore your second composition, “Tune to Tranquility.” Also, we are very excited to hear you have a new composition being released on June 26, 2026, entitled “Walking in a Painting.” The link below allows listeners to pre-save the song.
